Rhode Island Doll’s Spiced Up Our Marriage

A year ago, our marriage was struggling. Truth be told, my husband and I were just bored. We went out with the same people every weekend. We went to the same restaurants. We had sex but only because we were afraid that if we stopped we’d never get started again. At least that’s the way I saw it.

My husband is a good man. He’d never cheat. He doesn’t watch porn. But I started to notice him noticing other women. Not that he was really rude about it or anything, but a woman sees the slightest glance, am I right ladies? And I didn’t want it to progress further than that. I wanted him to see me.

So, I took matters into my own hands. I was getting groceries one day and past Rhode Island Dolls in Woonsocket on my way home. I am sure I had passed it by dozens of times. There was a girl standing outside by her car, texting on her phone. I guessed that she was a dancer and on a whim I pulled into the parking lot.

“Are you a dancer?” I asked.

She looked me up and down and said, “Yes. I’m going to take a wild guess and say you’re not looking for a job, so…how can I help you.”

I knew she must be suspicious about why a middle age woman like me would want to suddenly have a conversation with her. She likely hadn’t had the best experiences with women.

“Well, I was just wondering if women – well, couples – ever come in to the club? Is it even allowed.”

She relaxed when she realized I wasn’t going to be rude.

“It happens. Not a lot but it happens. And couples are welcome.”

We chatted for about 10 minutes and she assured me that it was perfectly fine.

I sat on the idea for about a week. Finally, I broached the idea with my husband. At first he was hesitant but I convinced him that it was worth a try and that I wanted to make our marriage more interesting. We agreed that if either of us was uncomfortable with the situation, we would leave.

The following weekend we went to Rhode Island Dolls. It felt rather strange as neither of us had been to a strip club before. We didn’t know what to expect. We took a table a bit of a ways away from the stage at first. We watched. And the dancer that I’d talked to came out onto the main stage. She was beautiful. At first my husband didn’t know if he should be watching at first or trying to act like it was no big deal. But I reached out and took his hand under the table and said, “It’s fine. Enjoy the show. She is gorgeous isn’t she?”

He smiled and nodded.

She saw us from the stage and smiled at us. After her dance routine, she went to the back and when she came out she came to our table. She talked to us for a few minutes and encouraged us to sit closer to the stage next time.

We eventually did move closer and we ended up having a great time. We both loosened up a lot as the evening went on and we even got a private couples dance.

Later that night, we talked about it. And if you’re wondering, yes, it did make us both feel a lot more amorous than usual. In fact, we talked about it for weeks afterwards. And we had such a great time that we went back again. Now we usually go to Rhode Island Dolls once or twice a month. We go in and have a meal after work and then we stay for dances. None of our friends know. It’s our little secret.

And you know what? I’m even starting to take some classes to learn how to work a pole! I may be middle aged but I think it will be loads of fun. I’m planning a special evening for my husband after the next night we go to the gentleman’s club. I can’t wait to see my husband’s face when he sees the stripper pole that I bought and the sexy outfit that I’m going to strip out of for him. This will be a lap dance that he’ll never forget!
