RI Dolls Dancers: Create a Sexier Look With Face and Body Makeup
Dancers at RI Dolls in Rhode Island Dolls in Woonsocket, RI, always try to look their best. After all – it is their job to look great for the customers that watch them dance on stage. But not everyone thinks of using makeup as a means to make them look sexier on the stage. Makeup can draw attention to the best parts of your body, make you look slimmer, or even draw the eye away from a body imperfection that you would rather hide. If you are self-conscious about the way a certain body part looks when you are so visible on the stage, makeup can do a lot to detract from it.
Let’s start with the face. One of the things that dancers at Rhode Island Dolls complain about most when it comes to their face is that the bright lights can make them look pale. There’s a simple solution to that and that is the proper application of bronzers.
The first thing you need to do is find a good bronzer that suits your skin tone and has a sheer matte finish. If you’re having a hard time finding the right one, go to a good makeup counter in a department store and ask for help. They will allow you to try out different bronzers so that you can find the perfect one for your complexion.
Now, you need to use a large brush and start by sweeping the bronzer under your jawline and across the hollows of your cheeks. Take your contour brush next and blend the bronzer upwards from your cheek bones. Don’t apply it under the cheekbones because that is too low to make it effective in giving your face a slimmer look. The next thing you should do is use a bronzer that is a touch darker than your natural skin tone and apply a line from the corner of the eye down the side and to the tip of your nose. Blend it in with a light touch. When you’re done you shouldn’t be able to see any lines where the makeup colors are different.
Moving down the body, you can make your chin and neck seem more elongated with properly applied makeup. It can hide drooping, too. If you sweep some bronzer under the jaw line it can make it look slimmer. If you have a great neckline and want to draw attention to it use a lighter shade. A darker shade will draw the eye away from the area. If you remember this, you can either draw attention to a slim neck or trick the eyes into not noticing it.
What about the arms? Everyone worries about hi-janes, even before they have them, but you might feel a little more comfortable if you learn to use a self-tanning solution to make your arms look slimmer. Did you know you can do that? Most people don’t. All you need is a self-tanner that is just a smidge darker than your natural skin tone. Apply just a small amount to your finger tips and rub it into the inside of the arms and up towards your armpits. Rub the tanner directly into your pits. Do the same thing for the back side of your arm, from your armpits to the elbow. Add a little bit of shimmer to the top of your shoulders and down the top of your arms and you have slimmer, sexier arms. This might take a little practice but when it is done right it can create a shadow that makes the eyes go to the top of your arms and makes the bottom of your arms less noticeable.
Finally, let’s talk about legs. One of the easiest things you can do to create more shapely legs is use luminizer all over after you get out from the shower. This will make your legs look sexy and shimmery as you are dancing in the bright lights of the stage. Lotion combined with a light colored face powder can do the same thing. Anything with a little shimmer can make your legs look supper sexy.
If you have imperfections like freckles or dark spots, you can hide them with self-tanner or tinted moisturizer. Dust shimmery powder or apply luminizer where you want the eyes to go and those little imperfections are so much less noticeable.
Remember this one thing – lighter colors (even if they match your skin tone) will never hide anything. In fact, they will just draw attention away from the area. So, only use the lighter colors where you want people to look. Well blended darker colors will hide your imperfections.
