We Had Our Engagement Party At RI Dolls

My girlfriend and I have been together for a couple of years now. We made sure that we did all the important things we wanted to do before we got married. We travelled (sometimes together, sometimes on our own). We partied. We even did some experimenting together, if you know what I mean. And after all that, we both knew that at the end of the day, we knew that we only wanted to be with each other.

So, I popped the question during a very private moment together and she said yes.

We decided that we wanted to share our news with everyone in our lives at the same time. So, we had an engagement party. Actually, we had two. We had a dinner with only our family members earlier on in the night. Then, for our friends, we had an engagement party at RI Dolls.

We wanted to make sure that it was going to be a night that no one would forget and what better way to do that than to have it at a gentlemen’s club. At first we had a hard time convincing some of her friends to come to a strip club. Some of them can be a little bit serious. But when we told them that we would be announcing something really important and if they didn’t come they would hear about it on Facebook, they finally agreed to come. But they weren’t going to watch the dancers. Ya, right.

We started off the evening in the VIP room. Everyone had some food (we ordered in a big plate of appetizers for everyone) and drinks. We let everyone get good and loosened up first.

Then we headed out to the main area to watch some dancers. The guys loved that. Some of the girls kicked up a little bit of a fuss but when things got heated up, even those girls were up at the stage, hooting and hollering at the dancers and throwing dollar bills around. Those dancers had quite the group on their hands but every single one of them managed us just fine.

Finally, after a few dancers had been on the stage and there was a break, we asked everyone to get a drink in hand and join us in a toast. I then took a few minutes to talk about how my girlfriend had been there for me and how I couldn’t get enough of her. She talked about how I was her best friend and she could not imagine living any kind of life without me by her side.

I think that everyone had a pretty good idea of where it was going, so I dropped to my knee and re-proposed to her in front of everyone and she said yes. The girls cried and they guys cheered.

After that, everyone got down to some serious business. A couple bottles of champagne got passed around and pretty soon everyone was in a celebratory mood. The dancers got really busy then. People were ordering lap dances all over the place. Lots of them were for me and my girlfriend – I mean fiance! – but they were getting them for themselves, too. Even some of those girls that were saying how they weren’t going to watch the dancers were enjoying some lap dances.

The best part of the night was when a bunch of our family members showed up – including both of our parents! They said they saw on Facebook that we were partying it up at Rhode Island Dolls and that there were disappointed that they hadn’t been invited so they decided to crash the party. I don’t think I will ever forget the sight of my dad getting a lap dance from a beautiful, busty blonde stripper while my mom cheered them on. I never thought I would see that!

Anyway, we all had a great time. Alcohol was drank, toasts were made, and we announced our engagement. It was a night that everyone will remember for a long time. Well, most people anyway. There were a couple people that got a little over-excited and had to be taken home by the designated drivers. Poor mom.

I think that Rhode Island Dolls in Woonsocket, RI is a great place for any kind of celebration. There’s good food, lots of choices for both drinkers and non-drinkers, and the VIP room just makes it even more special. And let’s not forget the celebratory lap dances. It will make any celebration memorable!
